Acid dipping is a critical step in our process. It’s also the most commonly misunderstood step.
First point to note and where almost all callers have it wrong, acid dipping step does not remove the paint. The acid is used to neutralize the base chemical that removes the paint. At the same time it also treats and kills the rust.
Car bodies and parts soak in the acid solution for two days. After which they go through another full high pressure fresh water cleaning.
