Preparation for dipping is very important.

The key things you need to do before bringing your parts for dipping:

  • Removal all bolts: so we can make sure to clean the threads and so they don’t get lost somewhere along the process
  • Separate all parts: if a part is intended to come apart it should be taken apart. We clean each and every part individually so we can get them as clean as possible.
  • Car Bodies & Pickup Cabs free from any parts, cart, chassis, or anything else: we want car bodies and cabs free from carts and ready to simply lift off for cleaning.
  • Cowl Tags: remove all aluminum tabs or tags held on with aluminum rivets.
