Chemical Stripping

We chemical strip car bodies, parts, industrial parts, stainless steel parts, cast equipment parts, all kinds of steel items.  Our chemical stripping process is a non abrasive and very thorough cleaning process.  Give you the cleanest steel we can when we’re done.

The chemical strip process involves having parts sit in tanks of chemicals generally for 24 to 28 hours.  After each chemical strip bath each part is meticulously cleaned with high-pressure fresh water.  The equipment we have for this is extremely powerful.  It’s not like the home use pressure washers.  It’s not just the power our equipment has it’s also the spray tips/nozzles we use.  Our high pressure spray nozzles cost close to $100 each.

Here’s a look at a Porsche body and parts we chemically stripped for a customer in Southern California.  Amazingly clean car body and part after our full chemical strip process.  We challenge anyone to find someone that can do better than this.  We truly believe that for many items we are second to none when it comes to the chemical stripping / acid dipping process.

Chemical stripping isn’t just for car parts.  These are some equipment used to process hemp.  Look how filthy and nasty there were before we cleaned them.  Items like these that can’t be blasted are a perfect candidate for chemical stripping.

Here they are just hours later.  A heated chemical bath to strip and remove the buildup of hemp oils.  Followed by high pressure fresh water cleaning and they look amazing.  Inside and out.  Without damage to the equipment and no sand or media to worry about.

This massive piece is part of some canning equipment we cleaned.  Alaska is where the equipment is set up and used to can salmon.  It came to use for chemical stripping from a company in Seattle that refurbishes them about every 10 years. Amazingly this equipment was originally made in Canada in the 1930’s and 1940’s bit still going strong today. Chemical stripping isn’t just for car bodies and car parts.  We literally clean and strip all kinds of things. From this canning equipment from Alaska to steel plates from a contractor in Virginia.
