Acid dipping is the best way AND the most cost effective way to clean inside your fuel tank!!

No other way to get the inside as clean for less money.

Our process begins with a soak in the hot caustic tank.  After the soak it’s cleaned with high pressure fresh water until it’s a clean as we can get it.  If there’s a liner inside the next step is sending the tank to the burn off oven to incinerate the liner.  After the burn off oven the tank goes back into the caustic for a second cleaning.  Then tanks go into our acid bath to treat the rust.  The acid bath is followed by another round of cleaning inside and out with high pressure fresh water.  We use several different power nozzles and reverse spraying tips to clean the inside and out to the highest degree possible.

When the cleaning is done we fill and rinse each tank and part in a water based rust inhibitor.  Then it’s dried to completely remove any residual water so it won’t start rusting again anytime soon.

Once it’s dry it needs to stay dry.  We won’t let it get and we highly encourage each customer to remember the importance of keeping it dry on the way home.
